Embedded YouTube Videos

On some of our webpages, we embed YouTube videos. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection is made to YouTube's servers. YouTube is informed about which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube may link your browsing behavior to your personal account. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.
If you have disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, no such cookies will be set when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

For more information about privacy at "YouTube," you can refer to the provider's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes, and uses data about the use of the map features by visitors. More information about data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy. There, you can also change your personal privacy settings in the Privacy Center.

Spam Protection with Google reCAPTCHA

We have implemented Google reCAPTCHA in the forms on our website to check whether the data entered in the forms comes from human visitors or from machines or automated programs, also known as "bots." This tool automatically analyzes the behavior of website visitors as they interact with the website, using various information such as IP address, duration of visit, and mouse movements. The processed data includes usage data such as the accessed website, date and time of access, and mouse movements, as well as communication data such as IP addresses, browser type, and operating system. This processing is aimed at website visitors and users of online services. The main purpose of this processing is to prevent abuse of our contact form and thereby increase security. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest according to Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, lit. f GDPR. The data recipients are Google Ireland Ltd, located at Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland, (https://policies.google.com/privacy), and our website hosting provider. While your personal data is processed within the EU, the retention period for the processed data is determined by Google Ireland Limited. For more information, please refer to Google's privacy policy.

Website Analytics (Jimdo Statistics)

When you visit our website, we collect information about your usage through a web analytics tool provided by our hosting service. This tool collects and combines your IP address and user agent, shortens them, and stores this data using a hash function. This process creates a visitor identifier, which is encrypted with a randomly generated value (SALT) that changes every 24 hours. This method ensures that your IP address cannot be reconstructed from the stored visitor identifier, thus preserving your anonymity. Furthermore, we do not combine this information with other data, and it is only stored on the hosting provider's server.

We also process web analytics data, HTTP data, and web analysis profile data. The web analytics tool we use creates and stores a web analytics profile containing details about your usage of the website, such as page views, visit frequency, time spent on each page, and the user agent of your device. This includes usage data (such as visited webpages and access times) and communication data (such as browser type, operating system, and IP addresses).

With the processing of this data, we aim to analyze user behavior in summary form to improve the presentation and content of our website. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest (Art. 6, Paragraph 1, lit. f GDPR), particularly in conducting web measurements to improve our products and website.

The collected data is shared with our website hosting provider and processed within the EU.
